ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The basic requirements for students intending to read for the B.A. degree in History (Single or Combined Honour) are those for entry into the University and the Faculty of Arts, except that for Single Honours, the qualifying subjects must include credit in History and English Language at the Senior Secondary School Certificate level, while for Combined Honours, English, History or Christian Religious Studies, Economics, Government, Islamic Religious Studies and Literature-in-English will be acceptable.
UTME SUBJECTS
English Language and any other three Arts subjects.
DIRECT ENTRY (Three-year programme)
Candidates must possess, in addition to five credits at the Senior School Certificate level, two papers in the G.C.E. and the Advanced Level. One of the two ‘A’ level papers must be History.
